Byrne Reese has released a Podcast plugin that allows you to link to a podcast on the Internet including your own podcasts or just simple MP3 files that may be on your server and has included a freely downloadable flash MP3 player as well. I have been waiting on a decent mp3 player that I could embed in posts and it looks like this might be it. I am extremely happy to see this and might get back into doing an occasional podcast.

I thought that the recent Melting Pot Heavy Metal Addiction podcast would be a good one to test it with.

Now that I have gotten rid of the CNN and Google RSS feeds I have added in a connector to Youtube using the MT-Youtube plugin. I figured I would try it out for a couple of weeks and see if I like it or not before I buy it. Basically what it does is to post any new Youtube videos that I upload into an entry. Simple, no?

I am not sure but it may take the ones that are already up and publish them. I already have put most of them up at one point or another, but just to let you know if they pop up tonight, that's why.

I found yet another little app that I am using. It's a now playing plugin for iTunes that publishes whatever I am listening to on Twitter as well as Facebook. Of course since I'm using the MT-Twitter Plugin that should in turn publish it here as well.
